Tap-centring is a skill that has eluded many a thrower, but with a few essential tips and 10 minutes of your time it will become so much easier to master. And perhaps that’s all the time it will take! In this workshop with Dianne Peach, we’ll throw some pieces - a chance to review your wheel skills, maybe even throw bigger, or try some exquisite porcelain, and fast dry them for turning. We’ll explore a variety of turning methods – on the wheelhead, on a hump, in a chuck, and complete a range of work to be proud of. Some wheel-related decorative options will be included. Your turning will improve exponentially when (not if) you can tap-centre quickly and fearlessly.
