Exploring Litho Printing with Christopher Hagen
Exploring Litho Printing with Christopher Hagen surveys the basics of aluminium plate lithography and contemporary variations. Though traditional litho is often considered a technically demanding method, it is a versatile medium capable of detailed pencil-like marks and bold washes. Its principles have given rise to simplified, highly accessible forms such as polyester plate, "mokulito" wood litho, and other variations. Some of these techniques are possible to print at home, without a press! This course will be structured to be beginner-friendly, but prior printing experience is recommended.
