2D to 3D: Studio Class with Carolyn V. Watson
A dynamic course for beginners and students from all disciplines, seeking a class that is out of the box. Developed to explore the relationship between drawing and sculpture, this thought-provoking course aims to challenge and inspire. In a stimulating workshop environment, the studio class will extend your creative capabilities and build confidence in adapting to new materials and techniques. We will explore a variety of new surface treatments and methods involving textiles, two-part epoxy and air hardening clays, introduce new tools and armature construction. This course will also refocus the students approach to the found object and the benefits of working on a collaborative project.
