Introduction to Small Scale Forming & Folding Metal

Introduction to Small Scale Forming and Folding Metal with Catherine Large will provide an introduction into manipulating metal to create volume. During this 9-week course, there will be an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the possibilities of fold-forming, small scale construction using simple folding and cutting methods, as well as spoon making using construction techniques. There will be a focus on experimentation - making samples, experimenting with the techniques offered as well as time to complete pieces. This course is suitable for students with some existing skills in jewellery making.
