Introduction to Kiln Fired Enamelling with Cath Large introduces students to dry enamelling and enables them to create colourful vitreous enamel jewellery. Techniques such as sifting, layering, stencilling, scraffito and the use of millefiore and glass threads will be covered in the course. Students will also be taught basic silversmithing skills such as cutting, filing, drilling and rivetting to be able to turn their enamel work into wearable jewellery. This course is suitable for beginners and experienced makers.

NB. Enrolment in this class will be unavailable four weeks after the commencement date or if the class is full.
The annual program of Semester 1 classes is online in November and Semester 2 classes are online in June.
