Introductory Printmaking

Introductory Printmaking with David Nixon explores printmaking across a range of media, including monoprinting, collography, lino carving, woodcut, drypoint etching, chine-collé and screenprinting. The graphic qualities afforded by printmaking will be explored, such as colour, texture, structure, and the painterly. Various traditional processes of printmaking will be taught, encouraging students to respond creatively to materials. Students will benefit from Nancy and David’s specialised, complimentary expertise.

The annual program of Semester 1 classes is online in November and Semester 2 classes are online in June.
