Introductory Printmaking with David Nixon explores printmaking across a range of techniques, including monoprinting, collography, linocut, woodcut and drypoint etching. The graphic qualities afforded by printmaking will be explored, such as colour, texture, structure, visual motion and the painterly. Traditional processes of printmaking will be taught, encouraging students to respond creatively to materials and develop personal methods of expression.
