Contemporary Silversmithing with Renata Fojtikova addresses working with new technologies and materials. This class will present a fusion of traditional and contemporary ways of making, including using materials and methods which are environmentally kind. You will learn how to cut, shape, join and polish metals. In addition, we will also explore how to make silicon moulds, pour resin jewellery, use textiles, leather, wood and found objects in combination with silver, brass and copper. Suitable for all skills levels.

The annual program of Semester 1 classes is online in November and Semester 2 classes are online in June.
