In this workshop we will learn about the basics of building a landscape painting. We will begin by learning about composition, the underlying structure of our painting. Learn practical colour mixing techniques using acrylic paint, including how to create rich darks, mid-tones, and lights that reflect the Australian palette. We will learn the role of value in creating depth and perspective. Please bring 5–6 landscape photos that inspire you, printed or displayed on a laptop or tablet.
