Drypoint Printmaking with Kay Watanabe

Students will learn how to create original prints using the drypoint technique, which is a type of intaglio printmaking technique like etching, but does not require harsh chemicals. They will learn how to effectively create lines and tones for a monochromatic print. They will also be shown ways to extend their works by applying roll-up and chine-colle techniques. This course is for beginner to intermediate students.
