Enamelling on Steel Tiles

Enamelling on Steel Tiles with Catherine Large - Two-day workshop for enamellers and non-enamellers alike, using steel tiles to create postcard size or square panels. The provided tiles are pre-enamelled with a white base coat, ready for the application of jewellery enamels. We will be using multiple techniques including wet and dry application of enamel, stencilling, scraffito (scratching lines) and foils as well as thread and ball enamel. These techniques allow you to work in virtually any style: abstract and expressive or detailed and precise. Tiles and enamels will be provided.
