Introductory Silversmithing - Basics with Renata Fojtikova - This course is aimed at those interested in learning core jewellery making skills, this course will introduce you to key jewellery design concepts and the essential skills for hand working in metal. The techniques you will explore include piercing, sawing, filing, drilling, shaping, annealing, soldering and polishing. Various ways of texturing metal will also be discussed. You will learn how to create various types of jewellery such as earrings, rings or pendants. At the end of the course you will take home a suite of jewellery. This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as for creatives wishing to reinforce their existing metal working skills.
