Oil Painting for All

Oil Painting for All with Abramo Papp - This course is suitable for the raw beginner as well as for people who have started painting in oils. Raw beginners will be set a class exercise to complete over the first 4 weeks and after that they can choose their own subjects and styles. The class is encouraged to develop one or more oil painting techniques: opaque layering, clear glazing, alla prima or impasto using brush or palette knife. Over the course students will complete several works of their choice of subject and technique. For those who have paintings in acrylics there is the opportunity to convert one or more of them into finished works in oils.
