Join BIA tutors Kirsten Farr and Clare Purser for a vibrant two-day workshop that brings together the tactile nature of ceramics with the expressive energy of painting. Day One: Learn to make a large platter and then create three small dishes using the press mould method. These forms will become your canvas for painterly exploration. Day Two: Working from your own landscape sketches and colour studies, you’ll discover how to apply underglazes with a loose, expressive touch—layering colour, gesture, and texture to bring your ceramic pieces to life. The workshop includes glazing and high firing, ensuring your work is professionally finished and ready to take home. Please bring 4-5 landscape photos to develop your landscape studies from.
