Description

This course with Catherine Large will provide an introduction into creating a container, from the size of a pill box to a tea caddy and everywhere in between. In this 9 week course there will be an opportunity to begin with sheet metal and make a box or container with a lid. The shape of the box is limited only by your imagination, as is the decorative potential. During the class, you will use skills such as cutting, sawing, annealing, roller printing, forming and soldering, along with finishing and polishing techniques. This course is suitable for students with some existing experience in jewellery making.

Please check the semester materials list for your class.

NB. Enrolment in this class will be unavailable four weeks after the commencement date or if the class is full.
