Watercolour for Beginners with Svetlana Trefilova introduces a range of different watercolour techniques: how to apply washes, painting wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry; how to use different brushes and what they are for. Students will become familiar with colour theory, watercolour transparency and opacity and learn how to create visual effects on paper. Various approaches and ideas will be explored in the studio and students will also have an opportunity for Plein Air work.
