Expressive Painting with Clare Purser is a course suitable for those interested in adopting a more open and self-expressive approach to painting. We will explore methods of translating our observations into paintings using a fast and loose approach to develop evocative brushwork and mark making. We will paint from life - the landscape, still life arrangements and from the life model (2 sessions) and explore how we can translate our observations into expressive and energetic paintings.
