This workshop with Clare Purser, is designed to loosen up your approach by working on a large scale and exploring how we can incorporate a range of gestural and abstract marks when painting florals. We will be working directly from floral arrangements set up in the studio. Through a series of exercises, we will explore how we can abstract from flowers and use a range of materials and interesting layering techniques to produce paintings that are bold and experimental without being over descriptive.
