Geometric Abstract Painting in Watercolour with Kathryn Blumke is aimed for anyone wanting to learn, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, the basics of watercolour painting, with a focus on geometric abstraction. She will teach composition of form, how to run a wash and layering techniques. The beautiful watercolour paintings of Swedish artist, Hilma Af Klint (1862-1944) will be exemplary to this workshop. No previous experience in painting is necessary. Students will be required to bring their own art materials (list provided) and to come to the class with a sense of adventure.
