Introduction to Repousse and Chasing - 3 Day Intensive

Introduction to Repoussé and Chasing (3 Day Intensive) with Catherine Large will provide an introduction into a versatile technique of patterning and forming metal by using punches to both stretch and compress the metal. In 3 days, there will be an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the tools, test out different metals, and learn how to make your own tools, as well as utilising the potential of the hydraulic press. There will be a focus on experimentation - making samples to keep for future reference as well as the opportunity to create a finished piece.
