Description

Art for High School Students (12-17 years) with Berenice Anzellotti - The High School Mixed Media term at the Brisbane Institute of Art is an exciting chance for students to explore, experiment, and push their creativity. Dive into printmaking techniques like lino printing, collagraphs, and drypoint etching, while working across a range of surfaces including watercolour paper, card, coloured papers, and fabric. We will also extend the prints by hand colouring and collage. Students will first build strong technical skills, gaining confidence with each process, before developing their own ideas and personal style. This is your space to take creative risks, try new approaches, and create bold, expressive artworks that reflect who you are. Perfect for teens who enjoy hands-on making and want to grow their artistic voice in a supportive, inspiring environment. Students will build a personal body of work throughout the term, with optional support available for school assessments and folio development. No prior experience needed just curiosity and a willingness to create.
