In this course with Stephen Newton, you will develop your own designs into a fired ceramic sculpture for your home or garden. Using hand building, modelling and carving techniques you will make one large and one small ceramic sculpture. Your designs can range from human and animal likeness to organic and inorganic inspired themes. Your sculptures will dry and be fired at the BIA for later collection. Stephen will demonstrate colouring techniques during the course which you can complete once you have collected your fired sculptures.
