The aim of this course with Maree Cunnington is to transform throwaway materials and objects of mass production into a wearable art assemblage. Waste is a global problem, and many contemporary artists challenge ideas of ‘high art’ and ‘preciousness’, in order to work with valueless things, to brilliant effect.
