Introductory Printmaking with Nancy Brown
Introductory Printmaking introduces the basics of relief and intaglio printmaking. The class will explore screenprinting, monoprinting, collagraphy, lino carving, chincolle and drypoint. The graphic qualities afforded by printmaking will also be investigated – including the consideration of colour, texture, structure, precision, and the painterly, etc. Various traditional processes of printmaking will be taught, encouraging students to respond creatively to materials.

The annual program of Semester 1 classes is online in November and Semester 2 classes are online in June.
