This workshop with Stephen Newton, is for beginning students who wish to develop their drawing and observational skills. The workshop will explore lead and graphite pencil and powder, colour pencil and watercolour pencil. Students will also be instructed in different types of paper and learn how to select materials for a specific paper colour and type. Students will be inspired by objects and images, and will be shown how to compose a drawing which reflects a personal style and use of drawing materials.
