Introduction to Stone Setting: Rings

This workshop with Renata Fojtikova is perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to add faceted stones to their jewellery or for those who just want to start making their own rings. Under the guidance of an experienced tutor, you will learn about the tools and techniques required to be able to make rings that incorporate faceted stones. Focus will be on how to size rings, cut metal to size, file, sand, anneal and solder silver, create settings for round faceted stones as well as texturing and polishing.
