Ink painting is one of the well- known traditional arts in Asia to express everything using just ink (mainly black ink), paper and water. In this workshop with Yumiko Kigoshi, you will learn the different ways in which ink interacts with water, how to use masking liquids and gelatine to produce different effects, explore the crease paper technique with ink and learn about different types of hand-made paper from Japan.
