Watercolour for Beginners with Svetlana Trefilova introduces students to different watercolour techniques: how to do watercolour washes, painting wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry; how to use different brushes and what they are for. They will become familiar with colour theory, watercolour transparency and opacity and learn how to create different visual effects on paper. Various approaches and ideas will be explored in the studio. Students will learn different styles in the class and will have an opportunity for Plein Air work. Tuesday mornings | 9:30am – 12:30pm | commencing 2 February | 18 weeks.
