Decorative Ceramics

Thursday afternoons | 1:00 – 4:00pm | commencing 3 February | 18 weeks
Total: $ 1260

Decorative Ceramics with Dianne Peach is a journey towards meaningful 3D claywork - large or small, free-standing or integrated. The purpose of making such work is to expose a narrative, an emotion, a reason for its creation.  Students will encounter all the traditional methods of making and firing but will be encouraged to think outside conventional practice, to experiment with materials and processes and to arrive at novel presentations of the medium.  Prior clay experience an advantage but not essential.

Please check the semester materials list for your class.

All staff, students and visitors, age 6 and older must show proof that they have received 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to enter the Studios and Gallery.

NB. Enrolment in this class will be unavailable four weeks after the commencement date or if the class is full.
The annual program of Semester 1 classes is online in November and Semester 2 classes are online in June.
Please notify me when new classes are open for enrolment.
