Abstracting the Landscape

Abstracting the Landscape with Clare Purser - Taking a fast and loose approach to painting, this is a great course for those wanting to pursue a more intuitive direction in their painting practice.  Looking at ways of abstracting the landscape using visual material gathered from either photos or sketches and studies. You will learn how a painting can evolve and change and doesn’t have to be preplanned.  You will learn how through the process of abstraction we can create paintings that are evocative and suggestive of landscape without being overly descriptive.
