Intuitive Plein Air Painting

Intuitive Plein Air Painting with Clare Purser - In this course we will be exploring how taking an intuitive experimental approach to plein air painting can help us to make paintings full of energy and spontaneity.  On day one we will be responding directly to the landscape, making a series of studies using a variety of approaches with brushes and with a range of mark making implements.  On day two we will be in the studio working on developing these studies into paintings.  By the end of this course, you would have explored how a changing, fluid approach to the visual making process can offer up possibilities that we could never have preplanned.
