Introduction to Printmaking

Introduction to Printmaking with Nancy Brown will explore printmaking across a range of media, including monoprinting, collography, lino carving, woodcut, drypoint etching, chine-collé and screenprinting. The graphic qualities afforded by printmaking will be explored, such as colour, texture, structure, and the painterly. Various traditional processes of printmaking will be taught, encouraging students to respond creatively to materials.
